DAY 6 - sunday

MICRO BUDGETS AND SALES

CUTTING CORNERS FOR MICRO BUDGETS

While the workshop focuses on best-practices and doing things in an ideal setup, this session will give some ideas and different approaches for projects on smaller or micro budgets. All this with a strategy to not sacrifice the creative work or the standard of delivery that can be done, in case this is needed or a sale happens only at the end of a project.

SUNDAY, OCT 27. 11:15 - 12:00

SELL YOUR FILM TO THE WORLD - AND DELIVER

When producing a film, whether it is a small independent project or a bigger European co-production, it is the best case scenario to find a sales agent to facilitate/secure worldwide distribution. But there are different points of engagement with world sales and a number of different materials needed to promote the film, some of them way earlier than at the point of completing post-production. This can be challenging for smaller teams, especially when production or post-production are still in full swing.

To go through the process of delivering a film, The Match Factory's Delivery Manager Jenna Roberts and Post Production Exec Juan Galva will discuss the topic. They will look at physical delivery, legal delivery and the various points of engagement between production and world sales.

SUNDAY, OCT 27. 12:00 - 12:45
